Athena (she/they) is a costume designer, draper, and stitcher. She will graduate in May 2025 from Vassar College with a Bachelor in Arts, double majoring in Russian Studies and French and Francophone Studies. Athena is passionate about historical costuming and is experienced in handling, studying, and exhibiting garments that date to the mid-19th century. Their work with the extensive hand fan collection at the historic New York Locust Grove Estate is featured here.
